Pex Fittings - Compression (Acetal)

The Pex compression fittings we stock are a hold over from the early days of the Pex revolution (back then known as Quest). They are a very versatile way to connect up many different kinds of pipe materials as long as they are all copper tube size. You can join copper tube to pex, or cpvc pipe to pex or copper as well. No expensive tools are needed, only a good pair of channel locks. Just keep in mind that acetal material does not like high chlorine concentrations. Avoid using them in chlorination projects. The female threaded fittings have a built in cone seal that takes care of the issue where a plastic female threaded fitting transporting hot water expands and start to drip. Zurn Industries is the cadillac of the industry and we are proud to offer their products.
