Whenever an underground irrigation line needs to have a cutoff valve installed in it, these butterfly valves are the answer. Installed by being sandwiched in between two flanges, equipped with the correct type of opener and extension (1 - 10'), they work great. You can have a simple lever operer, gear operated opener, or even solenoid actuated openers. We sell the stainless steel wafer, cast iron body, buna rubber design for most applications.
